5. Cookies and tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored on your device that help the Site work, remember your preferences, and show us how visitors use the Site.

We use:

  • Essential cookies that make the Site function, provided by our website platform, Wix

  • Analytics cookies through Google Analytics, to understand Site traffic and usage

  • Advertising and tracking pixels through the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), to measure and deliver relevant ads

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, and where it appears, through the cookie notice on our Site. Disabling some cookies may affect how the Site works.

6. Third-party services we use

We use trusted third-party platforms to run our business. Each one processes your data only as needed to provide its service, under its own privacy policy:

  • Wix — website hosting and Site functionality

  • Google (Analytics and Drive) — Site analytics and secure document and data storage

  • Stripe — payment processing. Your full card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us.

  • Zoom — video calls and sessions

  • Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — advertising and tracking pixels

  • BodyGraph — generating your Human Design chart from your birth details

  • Neutrino Platform — a platform we use in delivering our services

We recommend reviewing each provider's own privacy policy for details on how they handle your data.

7. How we share your information

We share your information only with the service providers listed in Section 6, and only as needed to deliver our services.

We do not share your personal data with any other outside parties. We never sell your personal information.

We may disclose information if we are required to by law, regulation, or legal process, or where necessary to protect our rights.

8. International data transfers

Because we operate in both the United States and the United Kingdom, and because several of our service providers are based in the United States, your personal information may be transferred to and stored in countries outside the EU and UK. When we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as Standard Contractual Clauses or each provider's own approved transfer mechanisms — to keep your information protected.

9. Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as you are a client and for as long as we need it to provide our services. After that, we keep it only for any additional period required to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations, and then we delete or anonymize it.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. To request deletion, email emeraldpathhd@gmail.com.

10. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Client data is stored within Google Drive and our website platform, Wix, both of which use industry-standard security. Our Site uses HTTPS/SSL encryption to protect data sent between your browser and the Site.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We work to protect your data, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights

For everyone:

  • You can ask what data we hold about you.

  • You can ask us to correct or delete it.

  • You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.

If you are in the EU or UK (GDPR), you also have the right to:

  • Access your personal data

  • Correct inaccurate data

  • Request erasure (the "right to be forgotten")

  • Restrict or object to how we process your data

  • Receive your data in a portable, usable format

  • Withdraw consent at any time

  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk; in the EU, your local data protection authority

If you are in California (CCPA), you also have the right to:

  • Know what categories of personal information we collect and how we use them

  • Request access to and deletion of your personal information

  • Opt out of the sale of your personal information — note that we do not sell personal information

  • Not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights

To exercise any of these rights, email emeraldpathhd@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

12. Children's privacy

The Emerald Path is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make meaningful changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and, where appropriate, notify clients by email. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised.
